So while at work today (apprentice mechanic) I tryed to get a fuel sample out of a transit van. In the process i managed to get a mouth full of fuel. Now at the time i spat it all out dont think i swallowed any and rinsed my mouth out with water and chewies. Now i can still sort of taste it and everytime i burp i can taste fumes? Does anyone now how to get rid of this? Any help is appreicated because its really foul and i cant stand it anymore!

Time. Just wait a while and it will go away. Most of us have copped a gob full of fuel at one time or another. It will go away..

Rinse your mouth with sugar packets from the coffee shop to change the chemical reaction then rinse a million times with water.

The irony in this is, this transit is a diesel and was just confirming that the owner had put petrol in the tank.

I thought this was going to be about milking cars to get to work the next day, a gob full of juice was always on the cards.
It will take a while to go away! Drink lots of water. |

Have a lighter handy when you burp, could shoot a pretty cool flame.

I'm surprised no one has told you yet....."Get over it"..it's a rite of passage to get a gut full of fuel trying to get home on a Sunday morning(or getting to work on Monday morning after siphoning Dads tank)!!
