Having a thicker sway bar will make a difference. It'll be worthwhile checking the size of the two swaybars (your car and the xr6), then you'll know if it will make that much of a difference.

Do you know what camber your running? this will also have an adverse effect on handling and conering. What shocks got put in it?

Good luck mate

Matt

Perhaps have a look at a whiteline swaybar ? They are worth more, but are much larger then XR versions

eb and ed's, xr's and non xr's share the same sway bar... i investigated this last year...

i ended up buying a 30mm front and 24mm rear whiteline swaybar. pedders were too expensive, and they only had replacement standard size front bars...

i think it cost a bit over $400. i bought them from www.gtsuspension.com.au

unless your springs and shocks are good, then its not worth it. your much better off with new springs and good, (koni, pedders) shocks. monroe are same as factory... not performance shocks...

you will also notice a big difference with good bushes... i did springs and shocks, then bushes, and then swaybars...

OED - what did you think of the improvement w/ the swaybars?

i just priced up the same setup last night, just wasn't 110% on it...

i think i have a touch of understeer, which i dont really like, but then again, i should get another wheel alignment for more camber... but it does handle very well. i would say i can go about 75-80k's through roundabouts where previously i could go 60-65k's... it also handled really well in turns 4 and 5 at queensland raceway...

if the rest of your suspension is good, then i would get them...

camber is a cheap way of making your car handle better, the hardest thing i come upon is convincing the guys and the tyre factories to leave the camber where it is and not to touch it. I usally have it about the 1.7-9 Degrees. yeah i know but it looks tuff handles and.........looks tuff :Reverend:
