Default LPG and B series V8s

Hi all,

I have noticed a fair few B Series cars running gas systems, even some XR6 turbos.

Wondering if anybody has or knows how well the BA/BF XR8 or dare I say GT/GTPs go on LPG in a performance/reliablity sense?

I've got my 3V on injected gas. Unfortunately I can't tell you much about how it goes because I haven't run it on gas since last year because it needs an injector upgrade.

But in the first couple of months there was practically no difference performance wise between gas and petrol. I haven't had a chance to do any gas driving with the sports exhaust system installed.

Not sure about the Boss engines respond to LPG but there are some members with converted XR8s on the forum.

Thanks GLI,

In your opinion is it worth the effort to hook up the gas? Doesnt sound like it is, if your not even running it atm??

Much difference in consumption?

Dont know who has converted the XR8s do you, would really like to have a word to them!
