Default I've got an E-Series, but I really wanted...?

Hey guys,

Time for another poll

We've all got E-Series, but what did we really want? It's a subject that comes up often, "oh I really wanted this car but at the time my loan got knocked back, I lost my job, I have no money (no doubt most common problem here) my parents stooged me, my parents wanted me to have their car" etc. etc. you get the picture.

Let's see what the poll says...

JONJET - Can you edit the poll to include "I really wanted an E-Series" as an option? That would be appreciated muchly.

I change my mind about what car I want like I change my undies. When I first got my license I was going to get a mk2 RS2000, but naturally they all seemed to disappear when I had the cash, brought an EA.

Second car I just needed something quick, got another EA/ED.

That died, so I thought stuff it, ill get something half decent. Looked around, and almost brought an AU2 Futura. It wasn't half bad, but for the same money I got an EL Ghia with heaps of good standard stuff.

Now I need a ute, I was looking at XH's but people want crazy money for something thats really povo, so Ive found two utes at the moment that I REALLY want, but I have to off load my Ghia first (someone buy it God damn it!...although someones coming next week).

IM after old school now, petrols only going to get more expensive, so Ill enjoy some v8 goodness now rather than later.

http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/...aspx?State=VIC

$12k I think not! Wouldn't give him $8k even, as these two below are just as good.

http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/...aspx?State=VIC

That one is my favorite at the moment.

Finally this one is tough aswell.

http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars...ype=2&trecs=25

Like I said, guaranteed they will be gone by the time I sell :(

My problem is I like all types of cars, small and large, but you can keep your commies, dont mind pre-commie holdens though.

Oh yeah the poll, none of those options are for me.

I really wanted an EL Ghia V8 when I got the EB, but when resale was hovering around $20k at the time I just couldn't afford one now.

I'm quite happy with my new purchase though, it'll suit my needs perfectly. I would'be been ****ed with driving a pov-pack a few years ago, but I don't need any more in a workhorse.

I wanted a Cryline GTS-T. Fortunately I couldn't afford one or insurance at the time - they were about $23k+ for a stock R33 GTS-T, most people hadn't heard of them.

I always wanted an EB/ED but didn't think I'd be able to scrape up enough at the time. Got an ED and the rest is history.

A gli lancer with drum brakes on the back with mags and a bodykit was my dream car.

I sold my EA to get one a few years back. It was the best.

I wanted a 180sx sr20det (Type X Update) but insurance wanted over 4k a year :

So got the XR6 that was a good car i enjoyed it. Now moved onto a TT soarer and very happy with it for the build quality and price theres not many other cars that could rival it.

Next car will be an Aristo (2JZ-GTE) im thinking. Same driveline as the late model supra's in a 4 door shell. Would love a typhoon as well.

Had a Choice out of Fairmont or Calais........

Calais interior was like it was made of lego blocks

Needed a car with power everything so I got the monty, didn't need a hoon car as my Charger satisfy's that.
