Default 2 secretaries in Sydney sacked after e-mail row...

They never learn do they.

I was forwarded this e-mail today. Did a bit of a google and aparently it's huge news (even a german site has translated). Way to set the women's movement back 40-odd years ladies.

Since I used to be a float and am still on the level 19 email list I couldn't help but receive your ridiculous email - lucky me!

You use our kitchen all the time for some unknown reason and I saw the items you mentioned in the fridge so naturally thought you may have placed them in the wrong fridge.

Thanks I know I'm sweet and I only had your best interests at heart. Now as you would say, "BYE"!

Regards
Melinda

Probably best you don't reply to all next time, would be annoyed to the lawyers.

The kitchen was not doing dinner last night, so obviously someone has helped themselves to my lunch.

Really sweet of you to investigate for me!

There are items fitting your exact description in the level 20 fridge. Are you sure you didn't place your lunch in the wrong fridge yesterday?

Yesterday I put my lunch in the fridge on Level 19 which included a packet of ham, some cheese slices and two slices of bread which was going to be for my lunch today.

Over night it has gone missing and as I have no spare money to buy another lunch today, I would appreciate being reimbursed for it.

Hehe, no and apparently a spokesman from the company declined comment on whether the lunch was stolen.

Man I hope someone has the balls to put her lunch up on ebay. I don't want to risk my account, but I'll forward the ad around.

ok this is a week old already. it has been in the newspapers as well. it would also be good if the actual REAL transcripts were written instead of the mutilated versions here.
anyone with last weeks Herald Sun will know what im talking about. i will believe their version of the email anyday over one that has been forwarded and reworded 40000 times.

I have larger pics of the two chicks involved and the blonde isn't bad.... I don't think it'd be too appropriate to post them up....

If that first reply from the blonde is what she actually said, then it's the brunette that has the problem.

I don't know why this got so much attention, or why its grounds for being fired. Chicks have b*tchy fights all the time and that's pretty tame in comparison to most.

I think the kept hitting reply to all, so apart from miss use of comapny email system, there is the whole slander aspect etc...

If it was 99% between them, then I think the company is rather petty.

If it was the brunette that lost her lunch I think I know why........She must've simply forgotten it was the tin of PAL on her desk. Mind you, if it's the blonde with a guy fetish I'll take my turn

Probably something like:

"42c. The misuse, or abuse, of internal, or external internet, email messaging system, for any purpose other than strictly work related practices, may bring instant dismissal."

I believe the firm was Allens Arthur Robinson. IMO the person fired should be the one who sent it off to his buddy at bank/legal firm/whatever!

Secretary high paying job ?? (apartment in sydney and a new car?!?) But ing about a ham sandwich?!? Something doesnt add up.

PS Id hit it

Then there was what others added whilst forwarding on the email...

The reference that one of the secretary's slept with her own cousin. Yet that lawyer was not sacked... go figure.
