Default Who's idea, Ford or hospital?

Hey guys I came across a rather smart idea, I'm guessing it might be Ford Aus marketing department finally using the head for better purposes. Was down at the hospital to see my brothers new little boy, my sister in-law was given a small pack which is given to all mothers who have just given birth. In the kit was a brochure for the new Territory, a rather well thought out one at that which included lots of great info and pics. Also had a pic on the back cover which was purposely made to look rough, on the left was the outline of the womb and on the right an outline of the Terri. Under the womb states something like "Embryo encapsulated at 10 weeks", under the Terri outline states "Your baby encapsulated at 41 weeks" which I though was clever. Anyway, what a great little idea and move if done by Ford Aus. Keep up the good work!

My son was born in Nov last year. The "Blue Book" given to us had the same info you mention.

We got this too but at the Mater in Brisbane. We're expecting our first in April and got it in a pack at our initial appointment with the hospital.

Pack had a lot of different adverts and samples and stuff so I'd guess a marketing company has put the idea together then sold it to their clients (including ford) and the hospitals.

pretty good idea, and it seems it worked too (check post #2) aiming the car at new families who could actually use it, and putting the babies life as a safety priority is a sure fire way to move cars. With the terri's new 5 star ancap rating it's a good thing someone thought of this portion of the market.

Yes I've seen this myself when doing the ante-natals for my first child - specifically back in 2007 when my wife and I attended the 'Baby Lifestyle Expo' here in Melbourne, the place was full of prams, baby clothes, toys, etc.....
...and ONE vehicle manufacturer, with three Territories on display.

Whilst Ford's marketing dept leaves much to be desired for satisfying us 'revvheads' it's good to see that the marketing they target to the 'mass market' is, in fact, well planned and executed.
