Guys I just wanted to know ..that if you have good air fuel ratios,can you get more power by adjusting ingnition timing?

Not really as adjusting the timing affects where it sparks. You may not end up with the correct mixtures @ the time it fires which may end up being lean or rich. You have to have to add more fuel or take away fuel when required.
It does work in small amounts but not in large amounts. Brenden

It depends whether the timing is close to ideal or not. If the engine is modified, then altering ignition timing will usually improve things.

If my timing is retarded by 8 -10 degrees than it should is it losing power?

If it's 10deg retarded from it's ideal spot, yes.

There are a few sensors which take 6 -10 degrees out of the ignition timing on the AU
