Hi all. New to the forum. I am thinking about getting a Mondeo with the 2.0 petrol ecoboost engine. Just wondering if anyone has had any work done to the motor to help with their output. I wouldn't go mental, maybe just a tune or something like that. I know the exhaust is a good place to start so after info more about engine management. Any advice would be marvi.
Cheers. |

Should be a lot in it as they're detuned for our market, probably not to compete with the Falcon (down from 177KW), which state are you in? I know a good tuner in Victoria if you are here.

I'm in South Australia. I have the name of a good tuner but was hoping someone had done it already. Because I trust people that aren't trying to take my money more:-)
Cheers. |

A Bluefin ups the 150kW, 300nm Ecoboost to 179kW and 367nm. This would be a pretty good ballpark for what you would get with a safe custom tune. Once you add exhaust, bigger cooler etc it would go up from there depend what your risk threshold is.

Different gearbox to diesel.
I am going to try and find someone to turn my Ambiente spec tune into a Trend/Titanium spec. If anyone has any contacts in Sydney pls let me know. Was thinking of Pulse Racing as my family has had work done there before on Subarus and Nissans. I had seen Bluefin before but didn't know what it changed outputs to, so thanks for who posted that. Hoping for something from MOUNTUNE one day |
