Wouldn't you prefer a GT or a Sprint or something?

like fordgirl said, im not sure why you'd be so keen on getting an ED XR8 to put away...
they've got the same 165kw V8 as every other falcon of the era, thy werent really a perfomer without ripping them apart and modding the engine.. look around for an EB or EL GT or an ED XR8 Sprint as a put-away vcar they will become valuable in the future, no question |

TICTRAK go with MADNC 8's proposal and try to pick up a cheap ED sprint or an El/EB GT, given time they could nett you some dollars.

I'd be looking for:
ED Sprint EB GT EL GT NL FBT Failing that, a clean EL S2 XR8 pref with a manual trans would be good... or even a clean as hell EL V8 Ghia would be good too. Depends what your ultimate intentions are.. If you're after an appreciating asset one out of the list above is going to do it for you.. but if you want something that's a good cruiser a couple of times a year that wont just be a rust bucket after 20 years and worth nothing then perhaps the XR8 or a Fairmont would be good for ya... Though if I wasn't going the appreciating asset route, I'd be looking for something more in the EL range then back at the EB/ED range...

Make that six or seven Brock's. There's at least two that I know of in north Brissy.
I also think a ED XR8 Sprint would be the best option. You can still get them for a decent price but probably not for long. |

where the e-series xr's they are quite rare, and so hold there value, at about $2,000 above the rest.

i'm doing the same thing with my ed xr6 wagon,it just sits in the shed and i don't care if it dosn't go up in value cause i just think it would be cool as hell to be able to take it out with my son when he's 18 for a drive, only thats only 11years away oh well i'll just keep it forever!!
