Hi,
Can anyone post a link or look up for me the colour code for the high beam active wire. I am adding a light bar to help with all the night driving I do and need to pick up the high beam active to run the relay. Planning on picking it up from behind the passenger headlight. Also, any suggestions as to where to run a wire through the firewall for the switch? Had a quick look this afternoon but its hard to see the firewall let lone somewhere to run a cable.

My book is for 2007 to 2012 so it looks like it may not cover yours at all but to give you an idea of what it has:
(sorry I took it with one of my phones and excuse the shadow, I'm working with a led lamp) |

Perfect thanks.
Hopefully the colour codes haven't changed and I can use it to compare to my test lamp results. I plan on using both the high beam positive and the headlight return as the switching wires to avoid possible issues with negative switching and such. Not sure how these work with the Canbus system.

Most of the colours were the same. Some slight differences in the park light colours but the main headlights were right. The pin numbers shown were right as well which is the main thing.
Worked a treat! I have left the switch under the bonnet for now until I can find a way to run it through the firewall. Going to jack it up next weekend and see if I can see a way from underneath. There is a grommet near the door hinges near the door wiring that may be an option if I cant find anything better.
