Default LR Focus Towbar

Howdy all,

I am wanting to fit a towbar to my wife's LR Focus Hatch for carrying a bike rack and the very occasional load of grass to the tip. Can anyone tell me if the rear bumper needs to be cut in any way for it to fit? From pictures on the net it looks like it goes underneath the bar an upwards to the correct height, but I just want to make sure.

Cheers!
