Default new to mk2 cortina couple of questions

hey cortina owners .


i have a question, i know the front door you can use the key to lock it , but how do you lock the rest of the doors, their is no way i can see that they lock ?

also rear seat base , how is it held in ? i cant see any clips or brackets to hold it down ?

Hi. To lock the doors from the inside you push the door opening handle in the opposite direction to the way you pull it to open the door. I think the base of the rear seat just sits in place, it will stay there if you dont invert the car. Cheers MD

Arh ok. I'll try that out. I think the seat is not the original one .cause its very loose and not safe .

only the front brackets hold the seats in place so you can swing the seat up from the back 2or4 door you can also turn the brackets around to change seat position, the back seat has no brackets you push the base under the back and push down mk1 is the same the last of the mk2 had the outside door lock below the push button like a falcon
