I thought it was pretty stupid to be honest. If the theme was "shine" how did that fit in?
They've done better. Not quite as awful as Kylie's lips last year, but close.

It's all part of the Masonic / Illuminate take-over. Lay back & enjoy!

I don't follow ufc but Anderson Silva broke his leg during the week.
Saw this on another forum, had a little chuckle. |

Still... seeing those fireworks go off makes me proud to he an Aussie. My uncle in Malta is involved in the fireworks scene there and talks fondly of the show we put on each year.

What ever it was - it changed shapes throughout the night. At some stages it looked like a UFO, others a mouth, sometimes an eye. The performance director for the night was the designer for 'mambo' so whilst it may have appeared totally random, may have had some significance to someone?(I'm guessing if your mind was chemically enhanced, or sun addled it may have helped?) |

It was the Mambo eye.
Mambo make clothes and surfware, the eye is a sort of logo. The guy was Reg Mombassa, former Mental As Anything member. I agree that band was awful, as was the ABC show, kept getting political, one sided of course, and then the guests, I kept saying who are these people? |

The fireworks I'm fine with, but the eye (like the lips last year) was terrible.

If it was the Mambo eye, then I wonder what it'll be this year. Golden Arches? Dynamic Ribbon? Think of the billions in free publicity around the world...

Here is a close up of the bridge effect I took from a couple of nights ago. I agree one of the worse designs yet.

I agree it was hideous! I was madly flicking the remote trying to find an alternative telecast.....not to be. It appears that the head office of the ABC is one dark weird place!

its actually based on sun worship
the eye represents the sun the stripes coming out represent the rays its why 'jesus' had a crown of thorns the circle representing the sun the thorns representing the rays youll see sun symbolism everywhere BP logo and they tell you the shell logo is an actual shell yeah ok then...... i could go on an on but getting called a conspiracy fruitcake gets tedious after a while

Christianity is monotheistic - sun worship doesn't seem correct. The crown was a torturous mockery of people calling him the 'King of the Jews' ... or were you be facetious?

i must be a dumb F ;;; . none of it means anything to me , the hand signals the eye . symbols , gestures , bah blah , a kid with a cap gun . if it means nothing to me cause i'm too dumb to see any significance of a high five , or 2 fingered sulute . then who is it supposed to be aimed at . freaken funny if ya asked me . they may as well show a pic of humphrey , or hi five each other . if i see an eye on the bridge , thats no different to seeing an ear , or pile of poop . my thought will be the same ( )
