DYNO DAY at MRC Dyno at Castle Hill

Date: Sunday 31st of August
Meeting Place: MRC Dyno, 26/44 Carrington Rd, Castle Hill 2154

Time: Exact TBA - Probably from 8am
Details: $60 per car, 3 passes per car. (Cash on the day).

This is a four wheel dyno, so will accommodate all cars, so the more the merrier and variety.

Please note that it is advised that you check that rear tyre pressures are at 40 psi & ensure oils and coolant levels are ok.

Food is also available at the event - supplied by MRC Dyno as follows:

• Cans of drink or water $2
• Sausage Sandwich, buttered Bread, onion, bbq or Tomato sauce $3
• Sausage sandwich and drink $5
• 2 Sausage sandwich and drink $7

A laminator will be available on the day, if you wish to preserve your printout.

Hey Guys,

Just back from Winton, looks like a i have an oil leak in the timing chain cover. Has anyone experienced this? Has anyone replaced the seals/gaskets on one of these could it be done in the driveway easily? Or is this best given to a mechanic?

I dont think i will be on the Dyno at the moment unless i can sort this one out

Full and Final dyno day details (All Welcome): MRC Dyno

unit 26 / 44 Carrington Road Castle Hill 2154 $60 (payable on the day csh only) on the dyno once for 3 runs. It is advised:

Im going to be pulling the front off the motor this weekend to work out where the leak is, from what i read the bolt could have come loose, if that is the case (which i hope so), thread locker, new oil, 40psi and some fun !!

Hey Geoff, there are 40 spots in total. 10 are reserved for FTF members.
Although, If 40 spots are filled, It's going to be a long and busy day.

I imagine it will just be a normal printout. We only got laminated ones at Autotech because Spoolman did it personally.

If we can locate the club laminator, then I will bring some A4 laminator sheets, and we can laminate our own, if the site can not perform this for us.

I will have my 2 little kids with me on this dyno day, could i ask if i could go earlier in the day? that way if they loose it (which i am sure they will) i can scoot off?
