Hi everyone!
Sorry for the urgent question. Ill be going overseas for 6 weeks tomorrow, and wanted to find out if it is okay to disconnect my battery in my Ford Fiesta WT Zetec 2009. Ive been looking online about this but getting a lot of mixed responses. Does the Fiesta have any important system programs that need constant power running through it? Thanks!! Kind regards, Bryan |

In short the answer is no. The audio system doesn't use codes in the WT and there aren't any other systems that are going to be bothered for that short period of time.
Cheers Russ

We just went o/s for 4 1/2 weeks.
Got back and the Zetec battery was flat as a tack. Was unable to be recharged. Apparantley a cell had failed. Putting a new battery in bought all settings back to what they were before we left. Though I did have to reprogram the drivers window auto up/down. |
