Default VW Sirrocon.

I saw one of these VW Sirrocon (spelling) this morning on the way to work and I must admit it looked HOT! What a great looking car.

I don't follow the latest car releases so never knew they existed.

Very impressed (looks wise)

Anyone driven one? or bought one?

Yeah Sirroco, been around overseas for a while, we just got it not long ago, sort of a new breed of low slung hatches/coupes, pictures don't do them justice:

VW Scirocco
Renault Megane
Hyundai Veloster

We should see some Opels soon too that look similar

Yep saw a few of the Renaults around lately.

I like the idea, hatches don't need to look cr@p.

Not sure about the R naming as that has been reserved to the AWD versions of the Golf and this isnt. Its just a little misleading I feel.

Great looking car though! Saw one this afternoon and it does look the goods!

I love the look of it, possibly one of the only good looking cars that VW make, and isn't as boring as batdoo.

Nice little car. VW Aus decided to drop the 3 door Golf R in place of the Sirroco R.

That is a Pug not a Renault mate. Another mug brand with a lion on the front.

I do like the way VW looks though, but couldn't fit my 3 teenagers in the back, maybe thats a good thing!

Was driving behind one the other day. The driver wasn't afraid to give it a squirt and I was quite impressed!

I drove one a while ago when they were still only available as grey imports here.

Brilliant. Bloody brilliant. If I could do a small fast hatch it's where my $$$ would go.

Great looking machine from the outside. I wish they had livened up the interior though, it's still staid golf bland.

Second hand grey importing one is probably the cheapest way to get one ...

Its also worth noting that the car has been on sale in EU since 2008 and is actually getting a bit old ... next year's all new Golf will be a major improvement over the existing model (all new Audi shared chassis + engines) and forking out 60K on something that's pretty much outdated seems a bit rich

This is hawtness as far as hatchism goes...

Any and all reviews place the Megane 250 above any of it's rivals, if you bought the VW, you'd be doing it just because it is a VW. Megane 250 Looks better than the oddly proportioned VW as well. This is the word of the lord our god, amen.
