Road worthy is a road worthy, there is not a 'special' one for club rego vehicles, they all have to meet the standard requirements, my tip would be to ask a RWC mechanic
I am assuming your XR8 is 25 years old and over, which means 1993 or older

As Trev said,
If it passes a RWC then it's fine. Our club requires a RWC to be considered for a permit

Club permit in Vic is basically same as full rego now .. RWC required, if post 69 and LHD then needs VASS cert, if RWC identifies as "modified" needs VASS cert. When some of the stuff that was on permits eventually change owners, will be interesting to see how they go getting permitted/registered again? |

So what happens when the car is currently on full rego, and turns 25 and the owner wants to put it on club rego. Does it need a RWC? Considering it's already registered and on the road.

Yes, still needs a RWC.

It's transferring from registration to a permit scheme. https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/regi...-a-club-permit Quote:

That sucks. I was going to put my NL on club rego in a few years but stuff like extractors would probably be knocked back on a RWC. So probably not worth it.

Why would extractors fail a RWC?

Going on his last activity time, no he hasn't, however, this area of the forum is open to the public and can be viewed without logging in.
Any reason why you ask? Anything you need followed up? Also to answer your question in your first post about it being more than 25 years old, I would assume so going by his user title he owns a 93 EB. |

So if I had an ED Falcon in excellent condition, would that still be eligible? I ask because my BA I have no intention of selling and is in really good nick. I keep it clean and really well maintained. I only travel around 10,000km a year.
The problem is which club would you look at joining? Most falcon clubs are for GT'S or performance based cars?

There are lots of clubs out there that aren't brand specific, ours is purely social, has bugger all to do with the cars. We are regional though and there are membership requirements
Go to the Vicroads website, they have a list of eligible clubs - https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/regi...d-associations

Also the month Ford stopped producing the EB and we’re looking forward to the ED’s joining. Quote:
