Default LV Focus Wiper Refills

Hi Guys,

Can you replace the Wiper rubbers only on the LV?

I went to my Ford Dealer and they only stock the complete replacement blade kit, rather than the rubber only. I had to sit down after being told the price!

I've never had to replace the wipers yet, but these wipers look different to the older style onces that accepted the bog standard refill.

Thanks & Regards!

you can replace the rubber only but it's a bit of a pain to strip the old 1 out & get the new 1 in

I bought some wiper rubbers for my LT TDCI from the local Ford dealer. They were around $20 for the pair from memory. They are a bit of a pain to fit but not that hard. They came with the directions for fitting. Certainly better than the 60 odd dollars for the complete wiper blades

Supercheap full blade and rubber $51 fitted-the arm sizes are different left and right so having them fit them saves you the ignimony of returning what they would ahve supplied ie 1 size.

you can buy the set of rubbers from ford, they were probably just trying to flog you the whole unit becaues they didnt know themselfs or they wanted to make more money out of you.

here is a link from fordxr5trubo.com showing how to change them
