FAKE Brembo brakes

G'DAY
I just want to inform people to be fully aware of purchasing any Brembo brakes (in fact anything) over the internet and especially Facebook Marketplace unless you can physically confirm the item is available and genuine. There seems to be a lot of people and businesses advertising for stupid prices.
If the product seems to cheap to be true, then it probably is. I have taken numerous phone calls from individuals to workshops over the last few months from them claiming they or there customers can buy original genuine products for ridiculous prices and in most of those cases when a photo is supplied, the items in the kit are not genuine but in many cases it is hard to tell.
I recently went to look at some retro hard to get brakes at a local wreckers for a customer and someone had copied all details and pictures and wasn't the actual wreckers visited. This is becoming an issue in the auto industry for some time so please be aware before you pay. Thankyou
