I note that FPV out sold HSV in April and March. 170 FPV Utes were sold against 95 HSV Utes for the year to date. I hope that the new VE comes up with the goodies otherwise Ford will not only win on the "Track" but also the "Road". But looking at the new VE, they could of made the same mistake as Ford with did with the AU. AN UGLY LOOKING CAR.

Sorry all those AU Owners, I was more refering to the VE COMODORE as being UGLY,but saying that, Ford did agree that the AU was not the seller they hoped. They made several atempts to change the look, even lowering the ride height. The better looking vehicles were the XR range from theTickford Garage.
I will wash my mouth out. Regards YGOSLO |

i know what you're saying...
i own a AU falcon and i admit they're the least attractive ford made. (don't worry, i'd still swap my sprint anyday for an AU3 t-series or persuit - they're an exception:p)

Have to agree with that though YGOSLO, the first stocko AU Forte with the buck teeth grill just slumped against the VT, but Tickford helped to take the tears away!!!

i agree with you, there are other models that look much better than the AU. But i would still keep my 2002 XR6 AU3 Tickford.

AU's are an awesome car with different styling. I think the reason why people didn't take them very well was becuase it just doesn't look like a Falcon.
As for FPV outselling HSV, hasn't this gone on for a while??? I remember a quote a while ago from John Crennan (HSV boss or something) saying "for every 10 cars we sell, they (FPV) sell 3"... Whose laughing now Johnny boy? |
