Yes. The "two-bucket" rule should be used by him at least.

And as for the "hand applied" wax, the golden rule is never touch you paintwork with your hands. :

High pressure washing is fine. Its the only way to avoid those fine swirl mark-scratches.

Not going in circles helps with swirl marks!

Im not keen on using high pressure on modern paint after seeing how easily the paint can get damaged.

Rubbing wax with bare hands onto a MC-12...did anyone else find that very arousing? :hihi: :hihi:

Youknow how it was said that his wax was one of two tubs in Britan? The other tub is owned by Jeremy Clarkson, i remember him using it on a POS rolls on an episode of topgear. He ate some of it too..

$6,000 for a Brazil Wax, I assume this is different from the Brazillian wax that firstly sprang to mind???? I also assume the Turtle Wax Bucket (The one with all the stuff in it) that I got for christmas, would be seen as below par?? Well i suppose if you can afford $1,000,000 for a car you can afford to get some poonce to wash it!

A couple of very interesting points for those of us in the real world.

Firstly was the last item he mentioned getting bird droppings of the car, this is something that can not be delayed, as the damage they can do is permanant, with repairs that quite often look substandard.

The coments of the pressure washers on this thread are valid too, the reason he uses it is to avoid contact and possible marking, You will notice it is an ultra fine spray and uses filtered water heated to 35deg. It is not high pressure nor is it concentrated, you will also note that on the panels he is quite some distance from the paintwork. (i have seen damage from high pressure blasters varying from stripping the paint off to actually denting aluminium panels.)

As for the comment of working in the sun, two fold,
firstly he is in europe and not subject to the heat or UV we heve here in qld.
Secondly he is not concerned by water marks as he is working on a light coloured car and the work he is about to complete would take them off anyway.

I would be concerned personally using my hands to apply the wax again twofold
Firstly my hands are callaced ( I actually work for a living and use thinners on my hands which tends to dry them a little)
Secondly there is no way at 6000 lb a bottle that i would waste it on my hands, a sponge that would be kept in a plastic bag would be better.

It is a good time to suggest that a lot of chemicals we use on our cars are not that good for us and Nitrile gloves would save a lot of people from dermitis and other skin conditions.

I was going to say that is my 2c worth but after rereading the post maybe 5c LOL

dear old Mr Coyote,
I thought long and hard about your fantastic for sale offer, and with it being a bulk buy I know I am going to be saving money.
But, it is with regret that I must inform you.......

NOT IN THIS LIFE TIME..... :

but
I can offer you two extra boys that can help you within your business and then you too could sit back while they detail your beasts in much the same way as the guy in the video :

Wouldn't you like your cars to be as good as that one...
