Disappearing threads?

Hi just wondering why some threads seem to get deleted without it actually saying "thread deleted" or "thread moved"? Does this occur or am I just bad at navigating the forums? lol

'thread moved' (redirect) reminders are generally left as a polite reminder to the thread originator(and other posters) that the thread was originally posted in the incorrect location. To hopefully help educate to place threads in correct locations in the first place.
In the case of deleted / removed threads, there are a number of reasons why there is no comments left.
In the past threads that have simply been closed & left for general viewing have resulted in new threads being opened asking why a thread was closed - when the exact reasons are clearly evident. Often threads of this nature would require a major overhaul, removing offending posts before being cleansed enough to be left on public display. Leaving a thread deleted message would be no different in that it is often seen by some members (that often times are the same members seeing red & posting inappropriate content in the original thread) as a red flag that they need to get fired up at. Some threads may also be removed / closed in order to allow some members the chance to cool down & think about things for a bit.
Threads that are removed / deleted without trace have done so for a reason - may well include content that you are entirely unaware of (Later content like this will NOT be open for discussion). If you have an issue with an individual thread - send a pm to the section moderator / admin, clearly stating your reasons why you do not believe it should have been removed. If we have gotten the call wrong, it may be reinstated after review.

Thanks Wulos. It wasn't any threads started by me that I was referring to, so there aren't any complaints from me. Just curious is all.
