Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway. Top Holden of the Week  With more and more cars running into the 11’s these days, the humble 13 often goes unnoticed. This HR Holden looked great all night, running consistent times in style; with a fastest pass of 13.43 @ 102.7 MPH. Top Ford of the Week  Keeping with the classic styling and air cleaner protruding from the bonnet, this week’s top ford went to this beautiful XY GT. With a best time of 13.12 @ 107.5 MPH to prove it’s no slouch. Top Japanese of the Week  With a big sticker like that on the back of his car, we’re glad this 86 is keeping it off the streets and running a 15.22 @ 93.2 MPH. Claiming our top Japanese of the week with its aggressive aero body kit and eye catching wheels. Top Rotary of the Week  This week’s top rotary went to this somewhat subtle looking RX7. With only aftermarket wheels changed from the factory styling, it surprised a lot of onlookers when it punched out an 11.73 @ 130.08 MPH. Top European of the Week  The BMW 1 series has proved itself as a great platform for enthusiasts; this white coupe running a best time of 11.24 @ 128.9 MPH on the night. Commentators Pick of the Week  Commentators pick this week went to this Blue Holden HK Sedan, its old school style and mint looks caught our attention as it cruised down the quarter mile for a best pass of 14.87 @ 92.01 MPH. Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets! Gates open at 4:30PM and racing starts at 6:00PM.
