Default Whats the name of that dang movie??

For the life of me I can't remember a movie made back in the late 70's, either here or in NZ, that included a massive car case, that wrecked that many valiant chargers it was almost criminal. I think it was along the lines of bank robbers or crims on the runing from the authorities.

Any ideas??

Probably not what you are thinking of but check out "Metal Skin" for some supercharged charger goodness. One of the awesomest car chases i've ever seen.

Vanishing point is also another good one to check out. The original gone in 60 seconds has some big smash ups.
Also Smokey and the bandit??

midnite spares sounds very farmilar, I was racing speedway at the time with my dad, so there's that connection, will have to check it out, along with some other classics on that movie site, thanks for the help and info.

Cheers

Running on empty / Fastlane fever? I only saw one Val wrecked in that movie from recollection though.

Reminds me of "Malcolm" starring Colin Friels. He didn't like the police too much, and used to work out elaborate ways and weird inventions to get back at them. Absolute Aussie classic film!
