Default cosmetics for fiesta

Is there anywhere in Australia that sells stuff like the lexus style lights and body kits for the fiesta?

Plenty of stuff in the uk, but its such a pain to get it over here and oh the conversion rate!

If you after certain bodykit contact the manufacter and see if they have a supplier in OZ. Probably the best way.

I went there about a month ago, and the guy was regretful to inform me that they no longer sell parts for Foci or Fiesta due to a lack of interest in them. Nor will they order stuff in. So looks like thats it!

Best you could do is ring westpoint ford in Hoppers Crossing (If your in Vic) and ask to speak to Yolanda. She's pretty clued up on places that sell stuff for Fez's, and I think she can order the stuff as well.

Yea, Carshine explained that to me a while ago... that they were thinking of getting rid of things as their reputation was being distroyed (they specialised in Mercs and BMWs).

A shame really, cause I loved my Wolf rear wing!

Gary from carshine said thye'd import Wolf kits to order ($2300) a couple of weeks ago. For that sort of cash I'd rather get the Eibach springs & some extractors.

I had the wolf rear wing... it was much better then the stock Ford one, and well worth the price. As for the $2,300... not too bad if you factor in the fact the Ford one is about $2,000 unpainted (I think - on the WP)

lexus lights arn't available in aust i had to import mine from the uk, just a warning though, if you're going to do that beware of an extra charge when you pick them up at the post office. It was a bit of a rude shock for me but you get that.

What was the nature of the extra charge, lotsy? Was it an import tax? Strikes me as odd otherwise.

If you can find a way to send it as a 'gift', I think you dodge import tax but it only works so many times.

I was told by someone that if it's sent as a gift the reciever of the 'gift' has to pay the costs not sure how true this is but.

A friend of mine has an uncle living in the U.S. Any music stuff he wants, he pays for it online, gets his uncle to pick it up & sends it back to Australia as a gift.

They've actually called my friend to ask why he keeps getting gifts from the U.S. He's just told them that his uncle lives there, is wealthy & sends him gifts every so often. Nothing they can do about that.

On the other hand, explaining to customs why you've received a "gift" from some company in another country is another story. I've heard they've started to really crack down on it.

But good luck though!
