Is there an easy way to link to an image I previously uploaded on AFF ?
The way I just did it, User CP > Attachments > Show thumbnails > click on image > copy url eg http://www.fordforums.com.au/attachm...chmentid=61599 ta |

Use photobucket and upload the pics there.
Copy the IMG CODE and paste it in your thread. |

Taking an external hosting source out of the equation...
When you post on AFF you have the option to attach an image which is hosted on AFF. Can you attach or link that image to another post without uploading again? ta Last edited by FgNewbie; 11-01-2011 at 10:08 PM. |

Right-click on the image and click "Copy Image Location" in Firefox. Paste the resultant image link (with [IMG] tags) in your new document.

nup, I can't see a way to link to it from in the manage attachments. It appears to just attach to the actual post.
At the time I thought Fled74 misread something but playing with attachments again tonight (which was quicker and easier than PB for 5kb) I decided to ask in case they had succeeded |

that's a good question, i don't see why not, but maybe there is a simple reason why not. i'm sure russell will let us know if it's possible
