I'm not but mum is, she has a 2pm-10pm shift working at a nursing home. Like you she's on double and a half as well. So it works out good, we all spend the morning together then she earns some good money in the arvo.

Night shift last night and tonight. And back for dayshift 30th and 31st., but atleast I get to count in 2013.
And pay is the same as if I don't go. lol got to love salary. To all working on the holidays, try to make the most of it, and most importantly, stay safe and hurry home back to family and friends!

Not me, but my wife worked today 7.30am til 1.00pm, is working tomorrow 7.15am-1.15pm.
She also has new years eve, 6am-2.30pm and new years day, 6.30am-1.00pm. All on 250% working as a cook in an aged care home...ching,ching... |

I turned down a call out fee of $350 on Christmas Eve... Not a chance in hell ill work on Xmas day or NYE. Life's too short and money isn't everything

Have been doing skeleton work yesterday, today and Monday but it's been real quiet so mixing time doing other things at home.
Trade off is that I dont go back to the office until the 10th of Jan.
