Hi,
I had my windscreen replaced today by a Ford Dealer during the 30,000Km service. However, I noticed after they completed the job that the sealant on the passenger side doesn't seem right and quite uneven. Unfortunately I don't remember what is looked like before, does this look right to you. Should I be able to see the sealant? On the drivers side I cannot see any of the sealant. Maybe I'm just being too picky... Cheers, rxj

A sharp blade would slice off the excess and tidy that up.
IMHO it is about the level of care you get from some (not all) windscreen people. Be thankful there is none actually on the A-pillar cloth trim !!!! Alternately, you might be able to get them to have another go, if you dare. I'm unable to check my XR5....the wife borrowed it for the girls-only weekend away. |
