i've taken the badges off the car to give a really good clean, but the problem is theres algie or mould stuck to them. i've scrubbed them with a toothbrush but the stuff wont budge. like the FALCON badge theres stuff stuck to the insides of the letters. I don't really want to stick them back on dirty when there allready off the car. are there any tricks or chemicals to dissolve the algie? thanks!

Here's one tip that never fails.....Put a bit of Dynamo washing liquid in some luke warm water, Allow to soak for about 10 minutes then using a tooth brush, Scrub carefully and the gunk should come off rather easily. Try it and see how you go.

CLR? A mild hrdrochloric acid solution should do the trick, only I don't know what it'd do to your badges....

yeah will give dynamo a try. i did think of trying something stronger like CLR. its for an EL falcon and XR6 badges and im on ebay every day

we use prepsol at work to get the sticky crap off the bagdes....leave them emersed for about 20 mins then peel off with a blade

thanks again for the suggestions, im fine with getting double sided tape off, its just the algie that gets stuck between the letters that i cant get rid of.
