Default What would the General do without Henry?

I was at the Alexandra Truck, Ute and Rod show today when I was told about this. I just had to take a pic, thought it might get a few laughs.

Cheers, Danny

I've seen these huge F250 V8 Diesel dualcabs... I want one!

What has the General got to offer in this class? A Rodeo?

Default forum doesnt like swearing, but you get the idea

hahahahaha. Brings a smile to your face. I remember a few months back a mate that bagged my Car all the time being broken down near Geelong. And who got the call to come and rescue him and his Holden. None other than my "crappy" Ford as he used to call it.

They could have fitted all the gear in the F-250! But then you'd never get the stench of Holden merchandise out

at the Winternats all the tow/support cars were F series trucks... Even some of the die hard BowTie boys have a F250 to tow them back to the pits...

Yes I was in the same situation when i bought my F150 - the generally doesn't make anything like the good old F-truck,

Would I be wrong in saying that that looks suspiciously like an import... the mirrors and lights don't look right... they're US spec and the grille has too much chrome on it to be Aussie... so perhaps the sneaky bastards didn't buy it from Ford Australia, it's from a private importer!!!

but it has the aussie bumper etc...
you can buy the grille and lights from any importer.... even i can modify headlights to suit RHD.

you can even buy a cadilac escelade front for the 'olden suburban

I was looking at the mirrors also however, there's little chance that they'd go to that extent just to make it look like an import when I think the imports come like that already.

Are they not the "adjustable mirrors" available as an option on the Australian F series????

Not that I know of, can't see the option on the website. Those ones fitted are already power mirrors so I'm not sure what you mean.

There are mirrors available that you can extend outwards, so as to see around larger towed objects, they were available on series 1 F trucks, when they first came out, not sure if its an option now though.

oh what a classic.
if they went to all the trouble of importing one, you would think they would import a Chev truck.
