Default Holden dual fuel scores 2g rebate

Article in Friday Herald Sun Carsguide states that because gas is installed at HSV Clayton it is classed as OK to get the $2000 Gov Rebate for aftermarket fitment under some loophole. Even though the car is brand new.
Ford EGas only gets $1000 as it is sold new. It states gas on Falcon is still cheaper. Maybe but there goes any competitive advantage or reason to swap from Commodore. Same goes for 380.

Some dealers over here are subsidising the rest of the install cost anyway...

Holden LPG is a $3900 option too
