The best-known Australian entertainers by the US (currently) are probably Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, and Eric Bana.
Colin Hay is performing in concert here next week. Is he good to see solo?

"Entertainment personality" descriptor and Geelong footy club reference makes me think Sam Newman?
Though I'm not sure I'd describe him as Australia's leading entertainment personality  I think I've heard Bert Newton described in similar terms before...
