Been doing research on my car and I found out the actual day my car was built and it got me wondering, how many people know the exact date their car was built? If your an enthusiast do you treat your car like a family member and give it a special treat on its birthday?

Whilst I have always traced the actual build date of most of my cars (post 1988, as before that they're too vague) I don't go to the extent of having a birthday celebration...the dampener on any such celebration is the >$1000 whack only a few weeks later when rego is due again....
That being said, when I did a partial restoration on my Brock, I rego'd it on the anniversary date of it's first rego (which was in another state). |

I have a Marti report for my Torino SCJ so I know its birthday and even how many siblings it has. I never thought to acknowledge the anniversary each year but yes the rego and insurance costs remind me of when it first hit the road here.

My v8 wagon will be 18 tomorrow hence why I asked but I think I may have celebrated a few days early by destroying a pair of 18s that were on the rear.
