hi



wondered if you got a father that wants to change setup of your grandmothers new tv antenna after its all setup thats about to be put up after working out with her about where it goes would it be better to do it way she originally chose or let him do it his thoughts even though it seens to couse never ending problems and hope your social network improves soon where you go do odd jobs for friends and family or have your own block.

what other ways are there around it. would it be better to ask others that you know if they need a hand and say just let us know if you do.

whats chance of a low to mid income earner being able to get a loan for a* $50,000-$70,000 block if they were able to save up atleast 20% of that*block price and finance rest which would be about $40,000 probably as then youd own something as dont want to rent.



whats reason why it seems harder or takes some people longer to get to know more people with some being closer to their age, would it be because they have a lot to catch up on after buying a better daily car thats more able to travel 2-3 hours or do more.



if the room was there to park the ed and ef then wouldve got the ba alot sooner.



spose classics or particular cars you like to drive in your spare time or spare cars (even taking them 2-3 hours) is different to main daily cars.

also since its only been a year of having a car able to tow a van or will be once the auto coolers added would a car trailer or furniture trailer being towed give same experience or close to it as none of the family have vans that are rated for the ba or would want to lend them.

the ef wouldve been able to tow if the work was done though

Don’t sweat small stuff, I’d be disappointed if that happens to me but it’s not worth loosing your **** over.

Finance if you have the deposit and can show you can live after maintaining the loan you’ll be fine

What’s your suggestion for a system where you buy and updat daily cars if you can only afford cheap ones no finance and need something good or atleast a backup one just incase original has trouble

What’s your system for rotating cars if you can only afford cheap ones and also no finance if you need something good or atleast a backup one to use if the main ones getting stuff done.

If you got a 50,000-$70,000 block of land and saved atleast 20% deposit what’s chance of getting small loan for low income or pensioners as it might be just as cheap to pay for something you own than to rent and with buying you don’t have to ask permission to do stuff, usually it’s 10% deposit but obviously if you come up with higher deposit there’s more hope

Not much point buying a block of land if you then can't afford to build on it... You'll still be paying rent/board for somewhere to live + council rates on the land.

The simple answer for cheap reliable cars is hail damage. Yes you cannot insure them comprehensive, but you can still get 3rd party property. Theyre not pretty, but they still work. The most reliable cheap car my brother ever bought he bought purely because it had rego. It was a 1990 import corolla sprinter. $900, but mechanically sound and clean inside, just a bit of a golf ball outside. Yes it was booring, but for a to b it was a good little car. Only ever had oil changes. And for $900, if it was crashed, it had 3rd party property, so the other persons car is covered, so who cares if the cheap one gets scrapped.

My advice is to better yourself. Educate yourself with the aim of getting a better job. Go to tafe. Do online courses. Whatever. Give up alcohol, cigarettes and drugs. Don't gamble.

Do all of these things and you'll have more disposable income to play with to do the things you want.

If the blockes just a block for storage most councils have rules about undriveable cars

It depends on the security of your income.

You would have very little trouble getting a loan for 40-50k with 20% deposit and minimal income.

Get in touch with a broker regarding your loan.

Most banks treat land loans the same as home loans ie same interest rates & up to a 30 year term. Some will lend up to 95% of the land value/purchase price (CBA from memory) - but most won't go any higher than 90% + you have to pay Mortgage Insurance. If you want to avoid Mortgage Insurance, then you have to stump up a 20% deposit (+ stamp duty & legal fees).
Keep in mind that a few of the Banks also have an expectation that you will build on the land within 5 years of purchase (CBA don't).
