Air filter for AU pursuit ute

Hey guys,

My brother has a limited release xr6 pursuit ute AU 2001. After years of trying to talk him around to a few minor modifications, he has finally put a set of extractors and a 2.5" exhaust system in. He is now keen to put a K&N air filter in. I cna find one seller on ebay who says that his filter will fit the following applications:-

The list does not include the xr6 utes.

My question is, if the filter fits the sedan xr6 4.0lt, then is there any reason why it wouldn't fit the pursuit ute?

It will fit, same airbox for all AU's except the T3 and Pursuit 250's.
