Recently bought a ford Fairmont au series 2 and replaced the battery in it because it was dead and re-entered the code to the radio. But it wont load cd's I don't get it, I push load and it makes some sort of noise and doesn't beep twice to let me know I can put cd in. I hold load for 1.5sec and a red light comes on and one beep but nothing. BTW the car was in a minor accident needing a new front left guard nothing major, I don't see how that could relate to not making cd player work.
From reading a few topics I've noticed that the in dash crap is crap. Any Ideas how to fix it cheers |

You Stacker is going through a process which nearly 80% of Factory Stackers go through. They get retarted and dont read and skip discs while searching and some parts malfunction incorrectly. You might need to get the Stacker reconditioned ASL look after visual and audio so ask them for further information.
