How quaint having a handbrake. I can see that being put to good use
BMWs are objects of desire that seduce you into mortgaging the wife and family. Funnily enough though they're really good on fuel economy. I guess the logic is that you can pay out the loan from fuel savings after 350 years. And the first 15,000 km service on our new one cost only $183 including wash and vacuum, wtf! A truly enigmatic marque.

With the likelihood that this will be the last non-electric assisted M3/4 this car provides worldwide appeal. Essentially the "GT-F" of BMW's.

It seems a surprise but it shouldn't be. Power and economy both come down to efficiency. The newer generation turbo engines help as well by giving more torque so the engine doesn't have to work as hard.

Any one notice the bonnet pinch in the front on photos?
possible panel alignment issues. Will the handbrake be moved over on the RHD version? And is there a tow bar option? |

Turbo engine efficiency is overrated - engine of the similar performance will use similar amount of fuel - variables being weight of the car, gearing , aero efficiency of the car , tyre spec...etc. You pay for performance in fuel , there is no way around it. New turbo engine downsizing craze has some merit but main thing is to sell something different and "new" to buying public . In real use fuel savings are marginal at best. VW small turbos use more oil than fuel (running lean), so yes fuel economy is great but engine oil is more expensive than petrol. |

That bench seat wing is disgusting. An fpv wing or bootlip would be better than that abomination.

That "bench seat wing" as you've called it provides actual downforce, as opposed to the purely cosmetic wing/spoiler fitted to the FPV cars.

Me- I would prefer to have a subdued road car, and for a track buzz- would roll the BAC Mono- which you could still legally drive to the track. And the BAC Mono would absolutely slay this on track, and you could get that within this cars cost with another road car most likely. But that is just my way of looking at it.
