I like the way the number 1 in the car numbers are most dominant. As it should be of course..

Actually DJR have always had "The Team" instead of "Jim Beam" when going to the Middle East ever since they've been sponsored by Jim Beam.

What a joke, so advertising of alcohol is illegal in the middle east?? There lucky the high ups of V8s want that international title or else V8s wouldnt go there, they can barely pull an attendance anyway.

IMO its bad enough they are over there, and now throwing there weight around too, imagine Nascar went to Middle East and got told that, half the field would be blank spotted panels, this no doubt costs these teams money, unless the sponsors are very kind.

They don't even advertise Alcohol for the F1's over there. V8 supercar would still go there as it costs them next to nothing to do it.

And who do you think is paying the bills to go there. It is 'The United Arab Emirates' lots of very rich oil shieks who like to watch the racing.

Why is it bad that they go there??

IMO the MORE we communicate with these countries the better the world will be...
Be it motor racing it doesn't matter.. As long as it's not weapons..
Aha think about what fuel they are running on too !!!

If they are covering (Compensating for) the teams, for the financial loss of not having that sponsor then that is more acceptable. It's still not right that they get to dictate that though IMO.

It's not bad, but theres no support there, i'd rather another round here in Australia or somewhere where people actually attend the event and support the event rather than a few rich guys getting what they want by throwing swarms of money at it.

Nice DJ...Nice!

Gotta be honest though, im not sure i could take to the big no1 on the car if Courtney had of stayed.
DJR cars have carried the famous 17 and 18 for as long as i can remember.
I wouldn't change it, we all know who won the 2010 championship, the number on the door is irrelevant.
