1986 laser

Hi all, my grandfather recently passed away and left me his Ford Laser. Its a 1986 model 1.5litre 5 speed gold in colour. its done a genuine 74.000 Ks log books. Inside is like new it has A/C. Can anyone give me an idea what it would be worth to sell ? would appreciate any help, thanks

firstly, condolences on the loss of your grandfather.
with regards to the laser, going of redbook (remebering they are only a guide), somewhere between about $1000 to about $2000 depending on weither it is a gl or a ghia. but that is a guide and the average conditons of 86 lasers are also in a 'very average' condition. but as you said having only 74 000 genuine ks on the clock and the interior in excellent condition, you could most likely command a bit more. that bit more really is a subjective amount thou. the question is how fast would you be willing to sell the car or if you can wait to sell it (assuming this is why you are asking for its value)
