i have a series 1 au xr8 with the standard throttle body im looking at buying a tickford one from a au xr8 220 will it be a straight swap over ?

Depending on price your paying an edlebrock or other aftermarket throttle body may be cheaper as the tickford units can be stupidly pricey

Keep in mind a 70mm TB will do nothing for performance over the standard 65mm TB on a standard and even warm 5L.

Just getting a quote from the bank about extending the house loan to cover one of these throttle bodies, then I'm getting one for insurance.
Has anybody checked whether the entire engine has to pay the carbon tax or is it just the throttle body?

I had the size of the original TB in post #5 anyhow, which was before the dude asked how big the standard one was! Just to clarify though, it's 65mm.
