12.44 @ 112mph 60’ 1.77 Temperature was 33.2 degrees!! On grooved Macquarie’s with front runners. First ever time on slicks and front runners. Bald as a badger they were, and were even worse when I finished. Full weight SS sedan M6 no tricks, no crap. Mate thats a top time, and good to see some consistant ET and trap speeds. How much difference do you reckon the slicks made? Do you think they might put too much strain on the diff?

Good work!! I wish I could run some 1.77 60' times.
What was your best 60' on street tires?

I hit a brick wall on street tyres at 12.9 and a 60 of 2.1 just couldnt get it out of the hole!!
the grooved slicks made about 0.4-0.5 sec. as they werent full blown slicks im unsure of wat i could manage?? the diff feels very clunky today. it was just TOO HOT!! Simon |

.5 of a second is a bit of a difference, it must feel nice to be able to get moving that quickly. I envy the manual gen 3's. I get raped off the line and have to play catch up every single time. :(
Sometimes I wish i had a manual.

Simon: Try some Falken RVS04's from Tempe Tyres. $250 a pop and stick very well. Im getting 1.8's from them in the barge and they are DOT approved so you can drive to the track and off you go. Like a bit of heat in em (crowds love it)

Some nice times their mate, you'll defenetly put her under some strain whilst the heat is up... only about 5 months till winter.
