Default Orsm Gets the Sack from Drag Tag.

Hi guys not a great day for me as l recieved the sack today from Drag Tag.

As l took a chance working there from leaving a stable position for 5years you would think they would have the decency in giving me a weeks notice so l can find work.

l feel used as l think they just employed me for my contacts within the industry.

Not good news Chris! Did they give you a reason? Do you have any legal avenues to pursue? I hope you find work soon mate!

Thats not right or fair, but seems to be the way so many businesses operate these days...

Good luck in finding another job quickly.

That certainly sucks. A week's notice is not too much to ask, some would argue at least 2 weeks. My last employer gave 6 weeks when he found his contract cut back, but I had a generous employer.

Bad luck man, that really sucks. I think because you were on the 3 month probationary period, they dont have to give you any notice. But yeah if they had any respect for you at all, they would have given you some time.

I hate it when employers do this! Sorry to hear Chris, that just sucks and is NOT ON! Seems that some employers think that they are above respect and professionalism....just not on!

hey chirs its adam here
thats crap i cant believe they didnt even give you time to find another job.
surely you'd have some good contacts now that could find you a decent job somehwhere.
time to start spreading the word of what a hole that place is.
and to think after all that overtime you put in there

If they valued you for your contacts initially, it's time to turn those contacts against them

Chris

When I joined up with Drag Tag, I could see that you were not a happy man. I could also see the reason why.

Sorry to hear the news Chris. i do hope you get back into the work force asap. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Regards

Jas

Chris, i was told a long time ago, cream always rises to the top, and this is nothing more than a test that you will pass with flying colours.

Is there a story about that in the latest PFM? Sorry to here about your job as well. Business like that do not normally survive if they can't treat the people working for them right.
