Guys,
I have just noticed my ED XR6 passenger door lock, little cover plates are missing over the lock passage, not sure if someone has tampered with the lock or it's just popped off as it appears to be spring loaded. I am thinking more the fact that some grub has tried to access the car, however there is no damage or paint scratches around the lock, thank god. Can this be replaced and how difficult is it to replace the little cover plates or do I need to replace the whole barrel? Can I just get a barrel from a wreck and use the round cover plates? Has anyone replaced one of these before, any help would be great. By the way, the key still opens the door. Regards Last edited by Edxr6; 28-12-2015 at 02:07 PM. |
