Falcon GT drawings

hi guys

im after some drawings of every model GT as i want to get a tattoo of them all on my leg but dont want to buy all the stomp shop framed drawings to show the tattoo artist

wondering if anyone has some that they can scan for me or some other drawings theyve had done or done themselves, would really help me out as i want to show the tattoo artist i dont want the cars to look cartoonish at all, i want them to look like real life

any help would be good

the best tattoo ive ever seen was on a fella's back who had that same idea as you. i recognised the picture. its a bar-mirror you can get that has all the GT's from XR to the EL. will save you buying ten different pics plus you'll have a cool mirror at the end. sorry i don't have one to send you a pic of tho. i see them at auto places. they might be able to help.

thanks mate i know the guys back your talking about, he has a red xy and a big GT351 logo as well as some race cars

yeh iv seen some mirros on the net, but been small pics of it, might have to go to some auto shops and look

This is no help for you but it'd nice to be able to draw.

I love watching Miami Ink, LA Ink and London Ink on foxtel.

cheers mate, its something iv been thinking about for a while now, now its summer its made me want to do it more, but it wont be done til next summer haha, but i want to go to tattoo artist in next week or so

anyone who does have drawings please let me know

mate speak to the tattooist. tell him what you want and he'll organise the pics for you unless you want a specific pic done. he will track down pics of gts and show them to you.

Show the tattooist the Stomp Shop website...pics are on there...

Or how about pics of the cars you want in the magazines...such as Street Fords...

yeh thanks Roy i have printed those pics from the stomp shop website but they come out blurry, but yeh ill give the artist the website

cant wait to get this drawn up, and done, i want an XR GT, XT GT, XW GT, XY GT, XA GT, XB GT on my leg, and get the Ford logo on one side of my ankle and the GT sumbol on the other side

yeh i do mate, love my fords, im only 22 and just over the last few years have developed a love and passion for GT's

thanks a lot ill keep you guys posted on progress and stuff but yeh as i said its a long way off, havnt even been to tattoo artist yet, hoping to in next week or so to get it sketched up

If you're after realistic, why not start with a photo? Maybe run it through 'ink outlines' photoshop filter or similar to simplify it first?

Quick & dirty example:

thanks mate thatd be great, i think i have all the pics i need now except for one of an XB GT coupe from the rear on an angle

iv decided to do 6 pics
- XR GT - GT Gold - view from the front of the car on angle
- XT GT - Candy Apple Red - view from the back of the car on angle
- XW GT - Silver Fox - view from the back of the car on angle
- XY GT - Electric Blue or True Blue - view from the front of the car on angle
- XA GT - Calypso Green - SEDAN view from front of car on angle
- XB GT HARDTOP - Yellow Blaze - view from back of car on angle

all the pics and the angle im after is available from stomp shop except the XB GT HARDTOP on an angle from the rear end so ill be looking for a pic pf that to show the tattoo artist

On Monday I'll be able to dig up some pics from Vol7 Ed2 of Performance Ford. It's a green one, but Photoshop can fix that!

i went to tattoo artist today

he had a couple ideas about the background, i wanted like a blue colour to represent sky or a grey to look like a road, he suggested a checkered flag which i didnt really like but he also suggested an aussie flag in the background, im kind of finding it hard to picture but the thought sounds good, he is guna start doing some sketches and he will call me back early in the new year so i will keep you guys posted

i am a bit worried that they will look cartoonish, iv only seen a few car tattoos and the ones iv seen look cartoonish and i dont like them at all, the one referred to at the top of this thread, the red xy on the guys back looks good, but it is a lot bigger than what will be on my leg so i am a bit worried it may lack detail and look crappy, but the tattoo artist thinks itll be fine

wondering if people could post pictures of any good looking car tattoos they have or have seen, would appreciate it

i dont know if its possible but if you could get me a scan of that drawing or a high resolution photo so i could print it quite large, that would be great to show the tattoo artist at my next consult, itd be much appreciated mate

i just brought 6 A2 prints from stomp shop, cos me a fortune but now i can show the tattoo artist and hang them in my house
