Default Turbo got bloody T-Boned today..!!!!!!!

Hi everyone let me start by saying NOT HAPPY JAN...!!!!, today around 4pm i was driving down duro st with the wife minding my own bis doing about 55-60kmp when this to$$a drove straight through a giveway sign from a side street to the right of me, i mashed the brake through the firewall and turned sharply to the left..as you would to minimise impacked but as you can see the pr!ck still tagged me. His first words where "oh sorry didn't see ya mate" he was driving a eb-ed green falcon but when i asked if it was an eb-ed he looked at the back of the car and said "i don't know it's a ABS i think.....", even my wife knows what the hell ABS means..!!! So got all his details and guess where i'll be all day tomorrow....Hope it's not off the road long.

It's a ***** when that happens. The Hyundai S-coupe got tagged the very same way twice in 12mths! Gave me the s**ts as I have to drive my XB to work. $100-150 in fuel per week didn't make me very happy.

That sucks mate! Plenty of ******* getting around out there. Just unlucky, wrong place at the wrong time. In hindsight, if you were speeding he would have missed you!

All jokes aside, hope he gave you legitamate details, and that your car gets fixed in as new cond quickly and smoothly.

Yeah, hope you're not in a hurry, cause nardi's wont be! If the car is your pride and joy, you need to get it worked on by someone else with a passion for cars, and perfection, taking pride in their work. Nardi's and most of the bigger shops just pump the cars out like ford dealers do handbook servicing, they get it right most of the time. I wouldn't risk it with my car, by the look of yours you wouldnt want to chance it either.

I know i wouldn't let Fyans St Panels paint or panel beat my trailer let alone my car!

I waited 3 months for them to get an interior part after my car got broken into and the theives smashed the entire dash, door trims, console. They tried to do a cheap natsty fix with dodgy second hand parts. I take great pride in my cars cause i work hard for what i get. For them to do some dodgy half arsed repair job, was just a slap in the face after what had already happened. Had to pull the bits off i wasn't happy with and get them to find new ones. Then the part i got sick of waiting for after 3 months, i sourced in darwin after about 30 mins on the phone! They don't give 2 hoots about anything but the money. Just cashing in on the good insurance work.

With a silver car you wanna make sure it's repaired and painted spot on.

Hope it all works out.

The inconvenience of chasing it up, getting quotes, getting money off the dude, then having your car off the road while it's getting done is the worst part! All because some ghey fag had his seat too far back and the "fully sick sounds bro" up too loud to notice he was supposed to give way!

Thats a bugger mate. But it could of been a lot worse is what you have to keep saying to yourself. By the pics it looks like you need a new guard and door skin. Around 1500 to repair im estimating.

People **** me.....

All too often I see people with beaten up piles of crap doing 'i dont give a damn' driving. When you're driving your pride and joy, which clearly they arent, they're the ones I worry about the most. When they're NOT ignoring give ways they're up your clacker or cutting you off or....

Sorry mate, love your car. Shame to see it....

I think we're being a bit hard on the guy, sure its bad - but I know I've been through a give way sign only to see a car appear just as I'm about to go out. You stop and give way but sometimes cars just blend into their surroundings.

Having said that, very unlucky.

On the day we took delivery of the Territory we were driving along the main street in Gosford: just on dark...light rain...

We were approaching a cross road with us having the right of way being on the main drag. Right in front of us, this guy in a Pajero went straight through the intersection from our right. Yep, straight through a stop sign, flat-strap. It looked very dramatic as he was travelling down a hill.

If we had been a second earlier, I wouldn't be here writing this.

I don't understand, but accidents DO happen. Sorry to see your damage, mate.

Bad luck about that, but that's the smallest T-bone I've seen; it's more like a lamb chop. Hope it's back to full health soon.
