california plates....i can assure you that isnt street legal. they have the most strictist emission laws in the U.S and that thing would not pass any inspection. i would think that i giant burner sticking out the back could be a very dangerous hazard if someone ran up the ar$e of that car.
street legal to the sense that he built it and still drives it, yes.
street legal as in fully legal, not a hope in hell.
im willing to bet he cant even get insurance on it.

its a bit iffy because hes not driving it with the jet. just like its illegal to use nos but in some states its still legal to have it in your car etc. you would have to prove he was using it.

What makes you think it won't pass emission laws? The jet runs on AVTUR not petrol. The emission standards are set up for by-products of burning petrol not kero.

Laws are funny things, even in the popular peoples democratic socialist republic of Kalifornia, piston aircraft still run on petrol with LEAD in it.....
