Default Anybody want something to do this Sunday

The Kempsey Sporting Car club just sent me this flyer, i have signed up with this club this year as i want to enter the coupe in some hill climbs this year. But they are starting the year off with a social navagational run, Mel and i will be going with the coupe (weather permitting), if you are after something to do, everybody is welcome, and you could form a new freindship or 2.

I know members can only attend what events they can, but those members that turned up had a great day mixing in with the other club, the Kempsey Sporting Car Club made us all very welcome, and it made it easier when i found out that half the members are customers at my work (which i didnt know). There was around 45 - 50 people turn up, and the range of vehicles was.......well..........different No one knew where we were going or tasks that we had to do, but each car got a navagational chart with directions and questions that had to be answered on the way. Everybody lined up and they gave each car the plan at the start line and sent us off with a 2 minuite gap between cars, we started off at maccas on the highway in Port, and we ended up going through sancrox, then through the center of Port, down the Lake Cathie, Bonny hills, North Haven, back up to the Ghost road, down the Highway and across a back road to Wauchope, and finnished off at the Sancrox reserve. The run took just over 2 hours, and the navagators needed a break when we finished, we found out that there were a couple of little arguments between navagator and driver But everybody came out alive. The club then put on a BBQ for us and we all had a great day.
We have kept the run sheet and we plan to have a navagational run in our club very shortly. The Mid North Coast Ford Owners Club flew the flag high by finishing 1st and 2nd (Jubb family 1st in the Capri, and the Scott family 2nd in the coupe) which made it better when the Jubbs started in 3rd spot and we started in 4th spot out of 22 vehicles. The Kempsey Sporting Car Club enjoyed our clubs pressence there so much, that they are very keen to have us along again at their next nav run.
