Default Mobile Speed Cameras in QLD...

I don't know if any other QLD members have noticed this but the QLD Police have a new vehicle for use of mobile speed cameras...

It's the smallish Mercedes Van. (Vito is it?)

Went past one just off the Eumundi merge southbound on the Bruce Highway and saw one pulled over and thought it was a tradie on his mobile until the very last second when I saw the Speed Camera In Use sign on the ground next to it...

I'm waiting on my mail now... :

Thanks for that...sneaky bastards... Until they use the revenue cameras as intended, motorists won't change thier views on them..

We still have the dark blue Landcruiser Wagons up here.
Spotted 2 between Bowen/Mackay on Sunday. Also spotted 2x VZ SS HWP and 1x Unmarked VZ Executive (Dark Blue Also)

Cheers

Darran

It's only been recently that I've noticed them. Because most tradies I see here drive those vans, I mistake the speed cameras for tradies...

Also helps that we have at signs where they are used.

There is a Black Accord Euro in the city, Silver VZ SV6 with personalised plates around the sunnybank area, and Mount Ommaney cops have a blue SV6

Yeah I actually saw it doing a U-turn or something in the grass medium strip between the motorway just south, pretty much under, the bridge between Alex and Buderim near sugar road if you know where I mean. Thought it looked strange at the time then we drove past and saw what it was out:
