Question Mechanics Newcastle area

Hey all .. New to forums and new to owning 8cyl.
Bought me an 03 XR8 last week ( I love her already!) and I'm wanting someone to have a general look at it for me. Everyone I seem to ask has said any mech they know won't deal with Boss engines.. Grrr
Sooo.. Newcastle area .. Any suggestions?
I'm afraid to say I don't know a lot about cars ..Well , nothing technical. And I don't want them to see a woman coming and lay it on thick

Thanx in advance

Jo

i would also suggest to say that someone recommend that you go there. ie dave said i should come here..

might help reduce the "see a woman coming and lay it on thick" attitude that some places can have..
