Hi, - Bit of an odd question but....
Im going over to Melb this weekend to pick up a car, We are towing a car trailer over and then coming back to SA . My question is that if the trailer weighs say 450kg and the car im picking up weighs 650kg ., By what percentage is my fuel economy likely to suffer due to drag / Weight etc , I was figuring 20 % would be a rough guess i get around 12.5L to 100 km normally with a mix of city / Highway driving for my weekly cycle , and about 7.5km to 100km @ highway cruising only for a sustained period (on petrol) @113kmph (A steady 2350rpm) I have just converted to gas and atm im using about 14L per 100 km in my weekly cycle Im assuming the load on the return trip is going to be a killer Any ideas ??
